00:00In Hyderabad, Natasha Prasthamantaro represents the Miss World in Hyderabad.

00:12Hi ma'am, how are you?

00:13Hello, I'm good. How are you?

00:14Fine ma'am, I'm doing good. So ma'am, so far, what's your best memory in Hyderabad?

00:18And how it's feeling to contest in Miss World 2025?

00:21My best memory has definitely been touring Telangana and discovering the different culture and tradition,

00:28but also the food. I think my biggest highlight was yesterday, the drone show that we had.

00:35It was so amazing at the State Secretariat. So that was very, very beautiful to see.

00:40That was the first time I had seen a drone show.

00:42But I think also the palace that we went to, that was so beautiful and it sparked so much royalty.

00:49But yes, Telangana is very beautiful. But also having to meet my sisters around the world has been amazing.

00:55Is there any culture or tradition or food that surprised you in Hyderabad?

01:00That surprised me?

01:01Yeah.

01:02I had sort of had an idea of the food really, the different curry, the biryani rice.

01:07I was looking forward to that. And also the naan.

01:10I wouldn't really say there's been as many surprises, but I've been able to discover a few of other dishes.

01:16Yeah.

01:17So what's the feeling to represent your country, Uganda, in a global stage like this?

01:20It feels amazing. It's such an honor and I'm grateful to God for that.

01:24And I hope that I'm able to do my very, very best and raise Uganda's flag higher than ever before by God's grace.

01:31So I'm blessed. I'm blessed to just be a brand ambassador for my country.

01:35So many young girls are watching this event and many of them take you as an inspiration to participate further.

01:42What's your words to share with them?

01:44I would say to always believe in yourself. Be confident. Self-belief is key.

01:49And your dreams are valid. Your dreams can always come true. Don't stop believing. Keep pushing for it.

01:55And put the work in, of course. But most importantly, God. Always have God by your side.

02:00I always believe that I could not have come this far in my life or in my journey if it was not for God.

02:05What is the deciding factor to reach the finals and how is the judging process in Dalma?

02:10I think they do look at the performance according to our different fast track challenges, which we've had support so far.

02:17We're going to have talent. There's top model. There's beauty with a purpose, which is your project.

02:21And then there's one more that has skipped my mind. Top model, we do the purpose, project, talent as well.

02:30Yes. So those are the fast track activities. So I think it depends on your performance on that.

02:34But every other thing, I guess, every other aspect about you, your character, your aura, your energy, I think it all counts.

02:40So you can't exactly know what they want. You just have to do your best.

02:44Apart from the beauty, what are the other parameters they would consider to contest in Miss World 2025?

02:49I would say the heart of Miss World is definitely beauty with a purpose.

02:53So of course, besides your beauty of the face, your beauty of the heart also matters a lot.

02:59That's the most important thing. Also being able to be someone that is a leader, create impacts, positive and sustainable impact into your community.

03:09For me, it's my project, which is a New Newsy initiative that is creating autism awareness and acceptance, not just in Uganda, but around the world.

03:17So you've been in Telugu world since two weeks. So have you learned any Telugu words?

03:23I know Namaskaram. Of course, Namaste. I think that would be it for today.

03:29Namaste Bahu Nara. Namaste Bahu Nara. Namaste Bahu Nara.

03:33Could you say the audience? Namaste Bahu Nara.

03:37So finally, ma'am, have you seen any Indian movies and what's your favourite Indian movie and who's your favourite Indian star?

03:43My favourite Indian star will always and forever be Priyanka Chopra. I think she's also my favourite in Miss World.

03:49Before I came, actually, the last movie that I watched was Burfi. Yes, I love Burfi.

03:55But what I loved about it the most was also the fact that it relates to my project, my beauty with a purpose.

04:01So Priyanka Chopra was acting as the girl that had autism and also Burfi. He was mute.

04:06But it goes to show that regardless of whether you have a special need, you can still thrive in life.

04:12So it spoke to me and also my purpose, my project.

04:15Have you seen any Telugu movie? Have you known any Telugu star?

04:19Any Telugu star? I would be lying if I said I do. But hopefully, I'm going to make my research and I'll know a few.
