00:33I also learned about what I'm capable of doing, and I also learned from the challenges I faced,
00:39that you should keep going and aim high towards your dreams.

01:57What about you?
01:58What's your name?
01:59Hello.
01:59My name is Ali Ahmed Al-Marzugi and I am a junior in Raka in Rasul Khayma.

02:11Thank you, ladies, for introducing yourself.
02:13So, now everyone's excited to know.
02:16Tell us more about this opportunity that your girls had in Singapore.
02:21Share the experience.
02:22What was your emotions and why did you travel to Singapore?
02:26At first, I was really scared to travel alone for the first time.
02:31But being selected was an honor.
02:32So, I was very proud and excited to meet new people and learn things, like learn new things and grow both personally and professionally.
02:41So, it was truly an honor to be selected and go on this meaningful trip.
02:45Amazing.
02:46So, also for you, Amna, as well, you were also selected.
02:49How many students were selected for this scholarship approximately?
02:5311 students.
02:5411 students.
02:55So, you are two from 11.
02:57Yes.
02:58So, what experience did you have?
03:01Let's hear first from Amna.
03:02What experience did you first have traveling to Singapore?
03:05How was your experience there?
03:06Okay.
03:07So, starting off from the airport, I was pretty nervous.
03:10Okay.
03:11Because it was my first time traveling solo without my parents.
03:14Okay.
03:15So, but hearing that I was one of the top selected students made me feel proud and gave me the push I needed and motivated me to go on to this trip.
03:24And even being with my friends even changed my point of view and gave me the encouragement I needed to go on to this trip.
03:32Amazing.
03:33Is it also the same for you?
03:34Is it your first trip outside of the UAE alone?
03:37But it was my first solo trip outside.
03:39So, it was really something I should be proud of.
03:42Of course.
03:42We're very proud to have you, ladies.
03:44Congratulations and well done.
03:47I want to ask you.
03:48So, since it's the first time traveling to Singapore outside of Dubai, being amongst diverse peers, diverse nationality,
03:57share a little bit more about the emotions you faced, maybe some challenges, maybe not.
04:04I actually faced a few challenges.
04:07Like, one of the things we did there was visit Adventure HQ, which was like a place for various challenges.
04:14And one of them was rock climbing.
04:15So, I was really, really afraid of rock climbing, but I like decided to push myself forward to give it a try.
04:21And thanks to my supportive teammates, like they made me push through.
04:24And I learned that, like, going out of my comfort zone is always important.
04:29So, that's one thing I like.
04:31Well done.
04:32I like, I overcame my fear.
04:34Bravo.
04:35Very well done.
04:36What about you?
04:37So, one challenge I faced was like being apart from my family.
04:40It was really hard at the beginning, but having my friends and the school staff made it easier.
04:45They treated me like family.
04:47So, it made it more comfortable and a better experience.
04:50Amazing.
04:51Okay, enough with the challenges.
04:53Now, let's go to the positive experience.
04:56I'm sure that you girls learned a lot.
04:59What is something that you feel helped you and will definitely be an added value to you one day when you start your initial business or when you get into the business world?
05:10What is one thing you learned or many things you learned?
05:12I think I've become more comfortable and better at public speaking.
05:17So, this is something that's really going to help me in the future.
05:20Okay.
05:21And I've also learned how to adapt to things quickly.
05:24So, all of these skills will help me grow as a person later on.
05:28And I wish, like, to see them, like, in, like, next, like, in the next set of people that's going to be on this trip.
05:36Amazing.
05:37What about you, Anna?
05:37So, firstly, I became more responsible.
05:39I had to do many challenges and take care of myself at the same time.
05:44I also became more resilient.
05:46So, I kept going on challenges.
05:48They were, like, physical challenges.
05:50Okay.
05:50Such as Adventure HQ.
05:52And they were, like, challenges that are more mentary.
05:55So, you have to keep going and not give up.
05:58Okay.
05:58And I also learned to be more confident.
06:01I had to speak up, speak to different people.
06:04And even by the end of the trip, I had to present my business pitch to a panel of judges.
06:10Very nice.
06:11So, let's learn more about what exactly was this program about.
06:15I'm sure many of our audience now are asking.
06:18What was the program about?
06:20So, this program was mainly about business and leadership.
06:23You had to become, you have to learn more about leadership to become better in business.
06:30So, throughout this program, we had many challenges to see how we are as leaders.
06:36For example, we had challenges such as Adventure HQ, where we had to be leaders and work together
06:43as a group to help us later on when we're doing our final pitches for our business ideas.
06:50Nice.
06:51What about you?
06:52It helped me a lot because I gained skills on how to build a business and how to make
06:57it successful.
06:58Okay.
06:58So, presenting my pitch and like seeing how making a business actually works and seeing
07:03how like it's so different of what I thought it's going to be like we have to go through
07:07financial things and more into that.
07:10So, these things actually really helped me as I want to like major in business.
07:15So, this truly helped me like see how things are in the outside world.
07:21Amazing.
07:21How was your understanding of global business evolving in the result of this program?
07:28So, before entering the program, I thought global business was just selling like products
07:34around the countries, around the globe.
07:36Okay.
07:36But later on, I learned different aspects and what key factors can affect global businesses.
07:42So, when we visited businesses such as Cisco and IBM, we learned that they had to connect in a way to help their business grow financially and in different from different aspects of the world.
07:57Amazing.
07:58Where do you see yourself five years from now?
08:01Having this experience, where would you potentially see?
08:04I think I may like see myself as like in a startup hub.
08:09Like I really want to start my own business.
08:11So, maybe like five years from now with the experience I had, maybe I can like develop my business and like be in the first steps of developing a business.
08:20Nice.
08:20Mashallah.
08:21What business would you like to pursue?
08:23I would like to pursue something in like buildings.
08:25So, like I want to have my own company and be my own, like be the CEO of it because like when I presented my pitch and like I saw how things are, I really wanted to lead my own company in the future.
08:36Mashallah.
08:37Very ambitious.
08:38What about you?
08:39I started, I want to keep working on the pitch I presented because I think I could connect to this and I will start growing it out so I can become my own CEO.
08:50Wallah.
08:50Mashallah.
08:51Very, very ambitious ladies.
08:53What is one message?
08:54Because soon you're going to be young entrepreneurs, right?
08:58Yes.
08:58So, you are shaping your business, shaping your future.
09:02What would you think is one advice having been sent to this program?
09:06Would you give the other, you know, students or people your age that also want to go through this program?
09:14So, what would you advise them?
09:16Would you advise them to go and try this program?
09:19Would you advise them to not?
09:21What would you say?
09:22I would definitely 100% advise everyone to go.
09:26It was a life challenging experience for me and I learned a lot of skills.
09:30So, I really want to like let the second set of people to learn the experience I had so they can also grow professionally and personally.
09:39Mashallah.
09:40Amazing answer.
09:41Yeah, so the same goes with me.
09:43I would 100% advise students to go on to this program.
09:49I not only learned more about myself, I also learned about what I'm capable of doing and I also learned from the challenges I faced that you should keep going and aim high towards your dreams.
10:01Amazing, beautiful message.
10:03Okay, ladies, now what I need from you is to look in the camera and each individually share a message with those that are watching us today, a full recap of your experience to the camera.
10:16Okay, so I am Alia and I actually went to the Singapore trip and I had a lot to experience.
10:24I had lots of fun with my friends and I actually gained a lot of skills like we visited Cisco and IBM and many other like companies and I learned a lot from them.
10:34So, seeing how I learned things and how I grew from there, I really want people to like experience this trip.
10:41So, if you get a chance to like visit another country, like an innovative country or any other countries in your school, I definitely highly recommend that you should go and you should visit them.
10:52Like you should go with the school and don't be scared because you're young, you can do it.
10:56Of course, beautiful message, Yala, your turn.
10:59So, I advise students to go on to this trip.

11:07So, with this trip, I learned many things such as I became more resilient, more responsible.
11:14This helped me and will help me in the future when I open my own business.
11:19So, these things such I learned more about leadership.
11:22So, this all will have an effect on my future.
