00:35when he hit a rock in Stage 8
00:37causing irreparable damage to the front-left suspension of his i20.
00:47Formaux's exit moved Sébastien Auger up to second
00:50so a potential seventh win could still be on the cards
00:53for the WRC's elder statesman.
00:56Takemoto Katsuta was now in the podium places following Formaux's misfortune.
01:07The Toyota driver was consistently near the top of the timesheets
01:11including setting the fastest time on Stage 7.
01:14Martin Sesc's day though was not improving.
01:17a puncture had cost the M Sport 4 driver over three minutes in the morning
01:21and he would again be slow
01:23but he hit a bank on Stage 9.
01:25So after nine stages Tanak's lead over Ogier stands at 6.9 seconds.
01:36Katsuta less than two seconds behind his Toyota team-mate
01:39Kalarov Ampera and Thierry Neuville completing the top five.
