Israel continues to kill innocent people

00:06Huge numbers of casualties and seemingly endless suffering for those who are left behind.

00:12Han Yunus was hit just as the sun was coming up.

00:16These are the bodies of two boys being carried all the way to the hospital

00:21to be laid in their mother's arms.

00:26They were sleeping when they were killed.

00:30My children, my heart. I waited for them for nine years after the girls.

00:38Nine years. I gave them dinner and they went to sleep.

00:42Normal day. It was a normal day. I don't know how. The world upside down.

00:48Elsewhere inside what's left of her house, another child remembers the last time she would see her cousin.

00:55My cousin's name is Mena. She's one year younger than me. She was with me yesterday night.

01:03I swear she bid farewell to me and telling me goodbye as if she felt it.

01:09The civil defence didn't come. I will tell you honestly. We pulled ourselves. My father helped us to come out from under the rubble.

01:19Homes and tents where displaced people had sought out temporary shelter. Instead, they became targets.

01:29The wounded fill the corridors of the local hospital. The dead fill the streets, which are lined for funerals.

01:37This woman is cradling the body of her sister. Since the first day of the war, she has been working as a volunteer at ANRA,

01:45providing psychological counselling and organising parties for children to cheer them up.

01:49In Jabalia, medical staff fight to save this person's life. While around them are more and more wounded children.

02:04Those who aren't dying in airstrikes are dying of hunger. Israel's aid blockade has been going on for ten weeks now,

02:13and an expansion of its ground offensive is imminent.

02:18In Deir al-Bala, standing in the rubble of their homes, Gazans say all they can do is pray it will end soon.
