00:00Curls, barbell curls.
00:01I was up doing reps with 275 in the barbell curl.
00:06We would start with a heavy weight and do just one rep,
00:08then have them pull off plates and a curl,
00:10but just enough that they cannot do two reps.
00:12Then pull off plates and do three reps,
00:14then pull off more plates and do four reps after that.
00:16And so this is how I would go up until,
00:18without ever putting the bar down,
00:20to really let the bicep know,
00:21you don't know what's coming.
00:23I'm gonna have all kinds of tricks up my sleeve.
00:25I mean, it was absolutely essential to do the barbell curl
00:28to get to create the thickness of the bicep,
00:30to do the dumbbell curl on the incline bench,
00:33and to do the concentration curl.
00:34Because the concentration curl isolated the biceps
00:37with the heavy weights, but to isolate it
00:39and to really concentrate and to create that peak
00:42on the outside of the bicep.
00:43The tricep was narrow bench press,
00:45a lot of narrow bench press in the early days,
00:47then triceps extensions down,
00:50and then overhead tricep extension with one arm
00:52and with both arms,
00:53and then also tricep extension onto a bar,
00:56where you let the body, the head go on the bar,
00:58and press out.
