00:00Once upon a time, in a lush green forest, there lived a clever fox and a proud crow.
00:06One bright morning, the crow found a large juicy piece of meat lying near a cottage.
00:11Feeling delighted with his discovery, he clutched it firmly in his beak and flew up to the branch
00:17of a tall tree to enjoy his meal in peace. As the crow settled on the branch, admiring
00:22his treasure, a hungry fox happened to pass by. The fox had been searching for food all
00:27morning without any luck. Seeing the crow with the delicious piece of meat, his mouth immediately
00:32watered. The fox knew he had to find a way to get that meat for himself. But how? Being sly and
00:39cunning, the fox quickly came up with a plan. He sat under the tree, looked up at the crow with
00:44great admiration, and spoke in a sweet and flattering voice. Oh magnificent crow, said the fox. How
00:51shiny and beautiful your feathers are. You look like a king among birds. I am sure that if your
00:57voice is as lovely as your appearance, you must be the finest singer in the entire forest.
01:02The crow, hearing these flattering words, felt extremely proud. No one had ever praised him
01:08like that before. He thought, if I sing for the fox, he will admire me even more. Without thinking
01:14twice, the crow opened his beak to call loudly. But the moment he did, the piece of meat slipped from
01:20his beak and fell straight to the ground below. Fox, who had been waiting eagerly for this moment,
01:27quickly grabbed the piece of meat and gobbled it up in a flash. He looked up at the crow, gave a sly
01:32smile and said, Dear crow, your voice may not be as sweet as I said, but your foolishness has
01:39certainly filled my belly. This, the fox chuckled and trotted away into the forest, leaving the poor
01:45crow embarrassed and hungry. The crow realized too late that the fox had only used flattery to trick
01:51him and steal his food. That day on, the crow learned a valuable lesson, not to trust the words
01:57of those who flatter you for their own gain. Beware of flatterers.
