00:25And here are the rest of the teams in the lottery, while they all have lower odds than some of the other teams.
00:32Remember, just a year ago, it was the Atlanta Hawks winning the lottery, despite having just a 3% chance entering the night.
00:40Now it's time to meet the representatives who are on stage tonight.
00:45Representing Sacramento is guard Keon Ellis.

01:22It will reinforce the team.
01:25You know, very balanced team.
01:27We have a lot of veterans.
01:29Some young players, young talents.
01:33By adding an additional strength to the team, it will be great.
01:39Hakeem, good luck. Thank you so much.

03:25The 14th pick in the 2025 NBA draft presented by State Farm will be made by the San Antonio Spurs.
03:33San Antonio receives this pick from Atlanta due to the DeJounte Murray trade in 2022.
03:39The 13th pick goes to the Atlanta Hawks.
03:44As expected, Atlanta receives this pick from Sacramento due to the Kevin Herter trade in 2022.
03:52Picking 12th in the NBA draft will be the Chicago Bulls.
04:01The 11th pick belongs to the Portland Trailblazers.
04:06That means Dallas has moved inside the top four.
04:11The Mavericks have never won the lottery.
04:14Pick number 10 will be made by the Houston Rockets.
04:21Houston receives this pick from Phoenix due to multiple previous trades.
04:25The 9th pick goes to the Toronto Raptors.
04:32That means the Spurs are in the top four with two teams jumping into the top four.
04:38That means the Sixers will lose their pick to the Thunder because it's outside the top six.
04:43The 8th pick in the NBA draft belongs to the Brooklyn Nets.
04:54Pick number 7 will be made by the New Orleans Pelicans.
05:05Picking 6th, the Washington Wizards.
05:10Correction now.
05:13That means Philadelphia is in the top four.
05:17So they make the jump and suddenly Jared McCain is riding the roller coaster.
05:22We all are inside this room.
05:23The Sixers are in the top four.
05:27The 5th pick in the NBA draft will be made by the Utah Jazz.

05:56And likely landing spot for former Duke star Cooper Flagg when we come back.
06:00We're catching our breath here.
06:02It's a shocker in Chicago.
06:04Immediately after the lottery concludes here in Chicago, one more look at the man of the moment.
06:09That is Cooper Flagg who along with the rest of us waiting to hear which team will get the number one pick in next month's NBA draft.
06:16And the Sixers table, we were on a wild ride as we see Nick Nurse, Elton Brand, and Darryl Morey.
06:22You guys are inside the top four as we await.
06:25Joining the Philadelphia 76ers are the Charlotte Hornets, the San Antonio Spurs, and the Dallas Mavericks.
06:37And once again, joining us to announce the order of the top four picks is NBA Deputy Commissioner and Chief Operating Officer Mark Tatum.
06:46Thanks again, Kevin.
06:49The fourth pick in the NBA draft goes to the Charlotte Hornets.
06:59Picking third will be the Philadelphia 76ers.
07:06The second pick will be made by the San Antonio Spurs, and that means that the number one pick in the 2025 NBA draft goes to the Dallas Mavericks.
07:21Rolando Blackman, all smiles, four-time All-Star celebrating the Dallas Mavericks had a 1.8% chance to win the number one pick overall in next month's draft.
07:39They had never won the lottery.
07:42Again, they had the chance to get in the top four at 8.5%, less than 2% to win the number one pick.
07:50And it is the fourth lowest all-time to win the NBA lottery.
07:55Last year, we saw the Hawks at 3%.
07:57Now you see the Mavericks cracking the top five at 1.8%.
08:03And they are on the clock, and Sham Sharania has much more with the winners.
08:08Rolando, this is unbelievable.
08:11What does this mean for the Dallas Mavericks, this incredible honor?
08:16Well, for us, it's been a rough year, as you all know.
08:18But the important part of the whole thing is that we'll get a chance to move our franchise forward.
08:23We have a tremendous, tremendous staff and management.
08:26And the important factor for us is to being able to continue in that tradition and to be able to move forward.
08:31It's really, really a great honor, and it's an important piece of the puzzle because we want to hoop down in Dallas.
08:36What does Cooper Flagg mean to you right now?
08:38Well, the main factor is that he can hoop, he can play.
08:41The important factor is that there are a lot of great players in that draft class.
08:44And the important thing is that we'll see how the guys get together and being able to make our team better,
08:49which is exactly what we want to do.
08:51Congrats.
08:52Back to you, Kevin.
08:53Shams, thank you so much.
