00:00First and foremost, I've got to say, what a crime shame it is for audiences out there

00:03that you spend all your time on slow horses, like behind a desk, eating crisps, being a bit of a layabout,

00:08when underneath that suit, you are absolutely ripped to pieces.

00:13You've been stalking my Instagram.

00:14I've seen that Instagram, mate.

00:15What are you talking about?

00:16It's hard to avoid. I've seen pictures.

00:18I'm trying not to play into stereotypes with Roddy, so I'm glad that that's coming through.

00:21I think just give audiences something to hunger for.

00:24That's exactly right. And as the seasons go on progressively, I'm taking off a little bit of my clothing.

00:29It's going to be a gratuitous show list.

00:31Who knows what's happening in season five?

00:32Who knows?

00:33Mate, talk me through the journey you guys have been on over the last few years.

00:38All the kind of best shows seem to be those that come out almost like sleeper hits,

00:41that suddenly series two or three suddenly global.

00:45But what's that been like to experience as a cast member?

00:48I mean, it's really nice to have this organic growth to the show.

00:51We're kind of collecting viewers along the way, and the show continues to exceed expectations.

00:57So it's, you know, two or three years ago we were here, you know, Gary and Jack were nominated.

01:02Last year we were nominated as a series, and now myself.

01:05It's really, it's a lovely progression to watch and to have on hold.

01:10What's also good to see in these kind of shows is when these characters develop and flesh out more and more over time,

01:16you were kind of a sarcastic, the guy you love to hate, sort of character for a season or two.

01:23But then over the last series, they really give you some kind of, some stuff to get your teeth stuck into.

01:28How enjoyable has that been?

01:29Oh, I mean, Will Smith, our writer and showrunner, manages to give me new things every season that continually challenge me.

01:36So season five is no different to that, so you have a lot to look forward to with Roddy.

01:40And how long have we got to wait until the next one?

01:41I can't tell you that.
