01:15سمتلك،
01:17Republicans with the 50 million people who have been displaced,
01:23it says to you have information that there is 1 in every 3 Sudanese brothers and sisters
01:30that have been been approved to leave their houses, one in three persons.
01:348 million have remained in the country,
01:37some of them unable to move outside the country,
01:414 million have left the country
01:45and 4 million is the equivalent of the population of Croatia and several other countries.
01:51And the countries that are hosting them, Egypt, I'm glad that the ambassador of Egypt is here,
01:58we have Chad, we have South Sudan, we have Uganda, we have Central African Republic, Eritrea, Ethiopia,
02:09and more and more moving beyond these imaged countries in addition to Libya.
02:15So they have gone, some of them to Uganda, some of the others to Kenya.
02:21Dr. Mamedou Balde, he's an old colleague but the regional director of Eastern Horn of Africa
02:30as well as the refugee coordinator for the Sudan situation as delegated by the High Commissioner.
02:37He is here, he has just about to conclude a two-day mission to Kuwait,
02:43a major partner, a major contributor to the humanitarian situation,
02:49but also to shed the light as we have just concluded two years and entering three years
02:56of the conflict in Sudan with a rising humanitarian needs of 13 million internally displaced.
03:04I'm going to use the code of Mamedou, then you have to think of the briefing.
03:08The largest country of displacement, including 4 million refugees, Sudanese refugees in neighboring countries.
03:18And this is why the mission of Mamedou is timely, to talk to our partners in Kuwait,
03:25government as well as private sector and charities,
03:28but also to our donors who understand very well the situation in Sudan.
03:33So I will stop here and thank you so much again for taking the time in a short notice and being with us.
