Children at a school in Milton Keynes may need some lessons on recycling as nearly 100 bottles were left littered on a field outside it

00:00so here at the gates face of the academy and the area just outside their gates

00:15approximately 80 90 water bottles plastic bottles where the kids were sitting this afternoon

00:24looks like they were just handed out by the school mostly the same so the school aiding assisting

00:38enabling the littering

00:42as i say about 70 80 possibly 100 not one of the kids

00:48not one of the members of staff thought to actually pick any of this up it's friday afternoon bank

00:59holiday monday nobody will be picking this up till tuesday at the earliest

01:06and of course the school makes great play about their credentials their green credentials their

01:11environmental teachings it's all plastic of course it extends further up uh towards the red

01:22walks of the co-op and towards uh grange farm but just this immediate area outside the gates

01:30it's anything up to 100 bottles disgusting
