00:00Hey Vision Tech fans, welcome back to the channel.
00:03If you're someone who's into Samsung's foldable phones,
00:06then you're going to love what 2025 might bring.
00:10Samsung is getting ready to expand its foldable phone lineup once again,
00:14and this time, they might have something exciting in store for users who are budget-conscious too.
00:20The much-anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 are rumored to launch in July 2025.
00:27But here's where it gets interesting, leaks are hinting at a new, more affordable variant of
00:33the Z Flip, which could be called the Galaxy Z Flip FE. Now, the big question is,
00:39when are these new phones actually coming out? Well, according to a recent report from South Korea,
00:46Samsung is planning to start mass production for its upcoming foldables as early as next month.
00:51Samsung Display, the team responsible for producing those foldable OLED panels,
00:57is already working on screens for the new models. Once the panels are finished,
01:02they'll be sent over to Samsung's assembly factory in Vietnam, where the final devices will be put
01:07together. After that, they'll be exported to markets around the world, including the United
01:13States. But here's something even more interesting. While the Fold 7 and Flip 7 are expected to be
01:20launched together in July, the Galaxy Z Flip FE might not be released at the same time.
01:26Samsung could delay its launch a bit to avoid cutting into the Flip 7's sales numbers.
01:32In fact, according to the same report, the Flip FE might get released later in the year,
01:37possibly around October or November. And if you thought that was all, here's another surprise.
01:43Samsung is reportedly working on a tri-fold foldable device as well. It's still unclear whether this
01:50phone will actually launch in 2025, but the idea itself is pretty exciting for tech fans.
01:57Now let's talk about something more concrete. We've already seen benchmark results for what's
02:02believed to be the Galaxy Z Fold 7. The device, listed under model number SMF966U,
02:09popped up on Geekbench. It's running Android 16 along with Samsung's new One UI 8.0,
02:16which perfectly lines up with that expected July release window.
02:20When it comes to what's powering the phone, the listing shows a Qualcomm processor with the
02:25motherboard labeled, Sun. That's the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Elite chipset. But here's a twist,
02:32the CPU clocks are a bit higher than the regular version, which hints that Samsung might be using the
02:37Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, for Galaxy, edition once again. That chip is known to be specially optimized for
02:45Samsung's devices. The phone is also listed with 12GB of RAM. While some users were hoping to see an
02:52upgrade to 16GB this year, 12GB is still plenty for power users, especially with Samsung's solid
02:59software optimizations. With benchmarks showing up and production reportedly right on schedule,
03:05it looks like Samsung is ready to unveil its next foldables very soon. If everything goes as planned,
03:12the official reveal should be just a couple of months away. And of course, we can expect even
03:18more leaks and sneak peeks as we get closer to launch day. So, what are your thoughts? Are you excited
03:24for a more affordable foldable like the Galaxy Z Flip FE? And do you think 12GB RAM is enough for a
03:32flagship phone in 2025? Or were you hoping for more? Drop your opinions in the comments below.
