00:00Somewhere, the government is responsible if there are no stringent laws in place, discrimination that's happened.

00:05Against discrimination, in the name of caste particularly?

00:08IITs are very liberal places in that sense.

00:13But yet, there is overall an environment of equality and friendliness.

00:18If you say people need to be protected on the basis of their caste, yes.

00:22But then there are other places where they are far more vulnerable.

00:26Those are the places where the society and the government should focus on.

00:30For example, small towns, villages, the schools there, where there is active and very, very heinous kind of discrimination.

00:37Discrimination not only among the students, but sometimes even the teachers very badly discriminate against the students.

00:45So that's where it is still happening.

00:47And those are the places we should rather focus on.
