Esta semana en M2, Susana Moscatel e Ivett Salgado conversan con el elenco de 'Thunderbolts', la próxima película del universo Marvel, y con Diego Luna, quien comparte detalles sobre la nueva temporada de 'Andor'.

00:19Es la nueva era de los Avengers, ¿no?

00:21Empezamos con la entrevista que hicimos hace unos días con Sebastian Stan.

00:25Exacto, qué delicia verlo en tantos personajes tan diversos.

00:29Qué delicia él, punto, pero sí.

00:31También.

00:32Como actor y como muchas cosas más.

00:34Exacto, exacto.

00:35También estaba por ahí Wyatt Russell, que interpreta también al U.S. Soldier, Sebastián Stan.

00:42Es Bucky Barnes, ya lo hemos visto por 14 años interpretar a este personaje,

00:46pero ya regresó del infierno y ahora es más o menos el líder.

00:50Así que vamos a ver.

00:51Hay que hacer esto.

00:53Tal vez no vea lo que yo veo,

00:55pero este podría volverse un gran equipo que puede alcanzar la gloria.

01:11I believe both of your characters are on a different point of the road of redemption,

01:18but it's quite different for each of them, right?

01:20Would you agree with this description, Sebastian?

01:23Yes, I think it's different than the other movies that we've seen thus far,

01:31and I think it's certainly the first time that, not maybe my character,

01:37but maybe Walker or some of the other characters are hitting that point of questioning,

01:42you know, and trying to find redemption, or a new path forward, in a way.

01:48But, yeah, it is a different film in the sense that you don't usually have this many characters

01:56that are not typically sort of heroic.

02:00They're not necessarily protagonists.

02:04They're not antagonists either.

02:06They're just sort of kind of figuring out where they are,

02:08but you still end up rooting for them.

02:10No, they all have a main character syndrome.

02:13They all feel like they should be a main character of their own movie,

02:16and then you put those people into a team,

02:19and you have a recipe for fireworks.

02:23It must have been quite interesting playing all those tones

02:26during an action movie, right?

02:29It was, because I think, and this is where our director, Jake,

02:35you know, was so great at kind of finding the balance of that,

02:39because I think we were always just trying to ground the characters as much as possible.

02:43What is the logical thing that would happen?

02:45What is the most realistic thing?

02:48And then he was able to kind of keep us also just tonally in terms of the,

02:56to not forget the humor and not kind of understand what,

03:00how the superhero kind of aspect of it.

03:38y que además está a bola de desorganizados para tratar de hacer algo.

03:43No sabemos si salvar el mundo o destruirlo, ya tendrán que ver la película.

03:46Esto nos dijeron acerca de todo ello, incluyendo el papel de la comedia

03:49y los thunderbolts.

03:51I'm so excited because this is something that the whole world is waiting for.

03:56However, we don't know what's going to happen with your characters.

03:59We have an idea, but we're going to see different things.

04:02What can you tell us about the new things that they're going through?

04:07Well, we can tell you that there is, it's a very raw, gritty film.

04:12There is not as much CGI.

04:16There's much more practical stunts and effects that actually happened.

04:23And also the movie offers up themes about isolation and shame and depression

04:31and how to deal with that.

04:33Yeah, and I think that the message goes through to so many people.

04:38It couldn't be more important to have it in such a platform.

04:40Still, Jardine, it's so touch good entertainment.

04:45Tell me about playing Mel to Val, her assistant.

04:49Yes, I play Mel, who is Val's assistant.

04:53And it was a really, you know, a cool way to enter the Marvel Universe

04:59because I think Val, I mean, Mel, is kind of, you know, she's new

05:07and kind of figuring out what's going on in the world around her.

05:13So it was very kind of an organic way for me to enter this world.

05:18And in particular, le tengo cariño a David Harbour.

05:49we really need new heroes

05:51and we really need a lot of sense of humor.

05:55What would you say about those needs regarding the Thunderbolts?

05:59Yeah, I think you're absolutely right, you know.

06:01I think that it's a time of like,

06:05it's, you know, hopefully it can be a time

06:08when we come together over a greater evil too.

06:11And I think that's a lot of what the Thunderbolts are about

06:14are they don't agree with each other all the time

06:17and they all have these special powers that can hurt each other

06:21and they sort of, their realization has to be

06:24that we're all in relationship to each other

06:26and that these powers are going to be our liability

06:28unless we can somehow use them to relate to each other,

06:32to come together against something greater

06:34that's at stake.

06:37And I think that's a very powerful message for today.

06:39It's also a great metaphor for so many other things in real life

06:42because many, many times it tells you were a hyperactive kid.

06:46That was your problem.

06:47No, that's your power.

06:48And I think a lot of people are going to relate to it through that.

06:51Do you?

06:51I agree.

06:52Yeah, I've suffered from, you know,

06:55what people will define as mental illness.

06:58But I've also found that those are the things

07:00that allow me to look at life in a neurodivergent way

07:04to see things in a way that, you know,

07:08classically sane people don't see things.

07:12We're all over the place

07:12and I think that's one of the reasons this works so well

07:15but also the banter.

07:16You, from what we just saw in this,

07:18in just this advanced,

07:19that banter that you have possibly more with Florence

07:22but with everybody.

07:23Yeah.

07:23Can you tell us a little bit about that?

07:25Yeah, I mean, the script is really good.

07:27The script was really good when we came in

07:29but then, as is often the case with these movies,

07:32which I'm always surprised by,

07:33they let you play around a lot,

07:34especially people that have known these characters

07:36for a long time.

07:37Like, Sebastian's played Bucky for 10 years

07:39and so he came in with a real attitude of like,

07:42you know, we're just going to mess this up

07:43and find our own way.

07:45And sometimes it can make the director nervous

07:48but as long as we get one good take,

07:50he'll kind of let us go.

07:51And we're talking about something that happens.

07:52And we're talking about something that happens.

07:55But it's like, you know,

09:07digamos que va profesionalizándose,

09:09va entendiendo más cuál es su función,

09:13la necesidad

09:13y va entendiendo su potencial.

09:17El surgimiento de una revolución

09:19está rodeado de pérdida,

09:20de injusticia,

09:24fenómenos

09:27o experiencias

09:29muy traumáticas,

09:31pero también

09:31mucho amor.

09:33Y justo esa rebelión

09:34nos lleva a la parte política

09:36de la historia,

09:37que también creo que es

09:38lo que Andor y Rojuan tienen,

09:41que está quizá más apegado

09:43a lo que era la primera trilogía.
