00:00I think you need to look at it at two different levels at the national level of course we want
00:09to engage the younger generation because Singapore's future is really for them it's
00:13for the next generation and the next next generation so I think it's important for
00:17us to engage them to understand their aspirations what their dreams are and how we can help them
00:24realize some of their dreams and their aspirations so I think engagement and conversation is very
00:31important I would imagine that for this group of younger people are those that are in their 20s
00:37today they are going to be worried about their jobs their career whether they can achieve what
00:43they set out to achieve and they also worry about housing Minister Desmond Lee has explained at length
00:51his plans for housing and how to make keep housing affordable and at the same time build more
00:57units to make sure that we have a supply to meet the demand so I think these are the programs that
01:01we have put in place we are also aware that many of the younger people are worried about taking care
01:07of their parents when their parents grow old and when they have their own children to take care of
01:11it's a three-generation family so I've in fact seen many of that in the Pongo area more so than in
01:18Chow Chukang so I think care arrangement and care services as care support is an area that is very
01:24important particularly to the local residents in the Pongo and I've been working in the Ministry of Health
01:31for more than 10 years and one of the focus of my work in the Ministry of Health is really on aging
01:38population so I've been thinking about how we can enhance and strengthen our care arrangement care
01:44support and also provide advice and services for those who need care so I think I will bring some
01:50of those experience to Pongo to benefit residents here particularly the younger generation who may
01:57need to look after their children as well as their parents
