00:00Samsung, you could say they're really everywhere.
00:03So TVs, barsounes, speakers, headphones, smartphones especially.
00:08And of course now also PC screens which I haven't tested yet.
00:13But I can also tell you that there are laptops.
00:16Often when we talk about high-end laptops, people will immediately say yes to a MacBook.
00:22But did you know there are convertible ultraportables that are here to help us?
00:27I was about to drop my grades. And so there's also the Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 that we're going to test today.
00:36Here we go!
00:36Okay, here it is. I'll put it over there on the side.
00:55I'm keeping it warm for later on the Neuroscore and Cinebench which we'll talk about a little later.
00:59In terms of design, it's exactly the same as the Galaxy Book 4.
01:04No surprise, it's exactly the same thing.
01:07It's only when we open it that we'll realize there's a difference.
01:10The tactical pad is wider.
01:12Yes, you will be able to benefit from a larger touchpad, making it easier to work.
01:17Accountants, rejoice, you will be able to use the numeric keypad.
01:22Yes, there is a full numeric keypad.
01:23And that's nice for those who like to use that famous numeric keypad, me for example.
01:28So, what do we find on this PC?
01:30Well, you will have finishing qualities that are impeccable.
01:32It's brushed aluminum, it's thin, it's light.
01:36Finishing and assembly qualities that leave nothing to be desired.
01:40On the left side, you will have two USB-C Thunderbolt and one HDMI 2.1.
01:45That's very good.
01:47On the right side you will have a mini SD port, USB A and mini jack.
01:52In short, we have something quite complete.
01:54It's true that we would have liked to have RJ45 because of Wi-Fi outages, etc.
02:00But there is always a way to get by with a dongle.
02:03In any case, we had a small unpacking which was still quite complete.
02:06Enjoy because European law will come into force later.
02:09PC chargers will also disappear.
02:12But we have the PC, the charger and the pen.
02:16Note, I'm talking about the S-Pen for the laptop.
02:19In any case, we have a very, very beautiful, ultra-thin laptop.
02:23We're going to look at the screen now.
02:26And this screen, what a beauty!
02:2816 inches, 2880 by 1800, fully touchscreen.
02:32Whether with your finger or the S-Pen, it is extremely pleasant to use.
02:38You will have a brightness of approximately 500 liters.
02:41That's more or less what I measured.
02:43Well, the only little thing is that yes, it is a glossy panel.
02:47And so, suddenly, when you are going to have a lot of light, for example a reflection of the sun or something,
02:52you might have to move it a little bit.
02:54Because you might, well yes, be a little embarrassed.
02:57This is not a matte slab.
02:58In any case, watching films and series on this screen is just frankly bliss.
03:03We have blacks that are very deep.
03:05Work on this screen.
03:06If you don't want to work, well, for example, with a mouse,
03:09you can work with your fingers or with the S-Pen and there will be no problems with either.
03:13And it responds frankly very very quickly, whether it's in writing or drawing.
03:18Well, I'm not a pro at drawing, so I did some writing.
03:20But we had something frankly very correct and there is nothing to say.
03:24Obviously, we are on Windows 11 with Copilot, so artificial intelligence.
03:29You will realize this when I talk about the performance part
03:32where there is this famous ultra-core from Intel which will work with an NPU for artificial intelligence.
03:40You will have Bluetooth 5.3 which is very good quality and we frankly have a very good range.
03:46With headphones, I had a range of about 10 meters.
03:49Honestly, it's very, very good and we didn't have any breaks.
03:52Honestly, there was no crackling or anything.
03:55In terms of Wi-Fi, we are on Wi-Fi 7.
03:57And when I was downloading, I was at the maximum of my line which is fiber.
04:01And when I was uploading, so sending data, I was also at the maximum of my line.
04:06So the Wi-Fi works perfectly.
04:09So, I was complaining a little about the RJ45, but you could say it counts.
04:12Now you have two speakers that sit on the low side when it's laid down,
04:18simply on its keyboard part.
04:21The sound is not warm enough for my taste.
04:25It's true that I've had better sound before.
04:28We are no longer on high mids, it lacks a little bass.
04:31Well, we're well wrapped up, there's no problem, but it's true that it's a little garish.
04:35In terms of the technical specifications, you will find an Intel Ultra Core 7, 256 volts, 16 gigas of RAM.
04:41And you're going to have, in DDR5, you're going to have an intera SSD.
04:45This SSD will read 3600m/sec.
04:50And in writing, we are on 2510 m per second.
04:53So we are on to something very correct.
04:55How did this PC perform?
04:57At Nero Score, and I'll tell you the score right away, we had 3820.
05:03Well, it's clear that we immediately understood that this won't be a gaming PC, that's for sure.
05:08Anyway, in CPU Score we had 1868.
05:11At the GPU Score, 1952.
05:14And for the SSD score, we were obviously there at 4636.
05:18As you can see, we are onto something very good.
05:19What will this PC be used for?
05:22Well, the Nero Score tells me that I can still play some games.
05:26Personally, I find it more of a home PC and a work PC.
05:31That's my personal opinion.
05:32But I still took out Cinebench to get the Cinebench scores that I'm showing you right now.
05:36In the multicore CPU we had 10,367 points.
05:40And in the single core CPU we had 1822.
05:43Which means that we'll be able to watch movies, there won't be any problems.
05:47You will be able to work on it, there will be no problems.
05:50Encoding in 4K is possible, but it's quite slow.
05:53I want to make that clear.
05:55So drawing, there is no problem.
05:57Honestly, I also tried a little architecture program.
06:00There was no problem on that side either.
06:02Well, the 3D was still pretty subdued.
06:04I would like to clarify this, however.
06:06So we really had a PC that was made for family and for work.
06:11However, for video games, yes, you will be able to run a few,
06:14but not the most greedy.
06:15With a 76Wh battery, a tiny 162 gram charger that does the job very well.
06:22It still loads the PC quite quickly.
06:24So, we have a PC weighing 1 kilo (690 grams), more or less, plus its little charger.
06:29So it's quite portable for the size of the PC.
06:32We had a continuous streaming autonomy of 14 hours and 30 minutes,
06:37which I find to be frankly very correct.
06:39Well, in relation to this, I went to see in relation to my old tests,
06:42compared to the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra, it is just below.
06:46Yeah, the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra held a little more.
06:50But in any case, here, 14 hours and 30 minutes of continuous streaming,
06:53I found it to be frankly very correct.
06:55We honestly had something very good.
06:56Especially since the brightness wasn't at its lowest either.
07:00It was at 50%, so we had good brightness.
07:02with the sound put on Wi-Fi, etc.
07:06For my part, I think it's good.
07:08Now, in more office use,
07:11there, we were also on a usage which goes around 16 hours.
07:16Which I thought was frankly very, very good.
07:18Well, obviously there was a break, we were on standby, etc.
07:22It wasn't continuous, but 16 hours is very good.
07:24In terms of repairability, it lacks a bit of modularity.
07:30Yeah, I had to break the word down so I wouldn't get it wrong,
07:32because otherwise I will repeat the sequence several times.
07:35What do I mean by that?
07:36It's a bit of a shame that we won't be able to boost,
07:39for example, his PC if the RAM is too low
07:41because it is simply welded.
07:43Normal, you're going to tell me 256 volts.
07:45So there, you will be able to limit yourself to changing the SSD,
07:49but only one slot.
07:50So, you will need to plan to make a backup,
07:52change the SSD to then transfer your backup, etc.
07:56And you will be able to change the battery if it is faulty,
08:00but that's where it ends.
08:01For the rest, it's a lot of welding and therefore large parts.
08:06Unfortunately, in repairability, if I have to give it a rating,
08:09we will go around 6.5, maximum 7, no more.
08:14Depending on which version you are going to take,
08:15It will vary from 1600 euros to 2300 euros.
08:192299, 2299 for the Belgians.
08:21Brief.
08:22So what do I mean by that?
08:24It's storage, it's RAM, pure and simple.
08:27And so, yes, prices vary.
08:29What did I think of this PC?
08:31The negative points.
08:32If I have to find a real negative point,
08:35honestly, it's the sound.
08:36This is really the negative part.
08:39For what ?
08:40Because when you see the quality of the PC,
08:43It's a shame this sound isn't better.
08:45By this I mean that to the competition,
08:47I have already had, for example, at Lenovo,
08:49you know, the little Bauer & Wilkins sound bars
08:52where we have a sound that is very warm and everything,
08:53Well, there you go.
08:54I mean, especially since Samsung makes really good speakers.
08:59and it's a shame that this sound comes to spoil the PC.
09:01For what ?
09:02Because we have a sober and elegant design.
09:05We have a PC that is robust.
09:07You will have a PC that is light and durable.
09:11Well yes, because 2:22 p.m. streaming,
09:13It's not nothing anyway.
09:15You will have a PC that heats very little
09:17and therefore, as a result, which has almost non-existent ventilation
09:20and therefore, suddenly, which does not make noise.
09:22And that is very important.
09:23And you have honorable performances.
09:25So, sure, it's not a gaming PC,
09:27but you will have something to work with,
09:31for home and everything you need.
09:34And like I said,
09:34I even ran a little architectural software on it.
09:37I was able to encode too, but it was a bit slower.
09:40So we have a PC that is frankly good
09:42with a great screen, touchscreen.
09:45What more could you ask for?
09:47Well, it's a PC that's completely convertible.
09:50So, for those who don't want to
09:52to go to the keyboard and switch it to a tablet, for example,
09:55Well, it will be pure happiness.
09:57because this screen is really very nice.
10:00As you can hear,
10:00There are really a lot of positive points.
10:03It's a real shame that this little sound part
10:05Well, come and spoil the party.
10:07Finally, spoil it.
10:09Come on, let's say he's a bit of a drunk guy.
10:10that he is simply asked to leave.
10:12And there he goes, and there's no trouble.
10:14This is to give an example.
10:15In any case, we have a very, very good laptop.
10:18and honestly,
10:20Well, he's not afraid of competition.
10:22I hope you enjoyed this little video.
10:24Feel free to give me a thumbs up,
10:25to subscribe,
10:27to comment to tell me
10:28What do you think about it?
