Zipline operator questioned after viral “Allahu Akbar” video in Pahalgam attack

A zipline ride turned terrifying in Pahalgam as gunfire erupted mid-air.

00:21Sources said that after the Pehalgaam attack, everyone present at the scene was called in

00:27Among them was the zipline operator who was later summoned again after a video of tourist

00:31Rishi Bhatt on the zipline went viral.

00:50In the video Bhatt wearing a blue checked shirt, sunglasses and a helmet could be seen enjoying

00:54and recording the ride with a selfie stick even as gunfire rang out in the background.

01:09Bhatt said his video captured a man falling to the ground which made him realize something was

01:13terribly wrong. He added that he immediately stopped the zipline rope, jumped down from a height of about

01:1715 feet and ran towards safety along with his wife and son. At that moment he said his only thought

01:22was to protect himself and his family. Bhatt shared that they managed to escape from the spot.
