00:00We just had an explosion out there.

00:03It blew up in the air and then we saw two fireballs go down.

00:06TWA Flight 800, a commercial 747 aircraft, has exploded in midair.

00:12A missile or some kind of streaking object was seen in the sky at the same time TWA Flight 800 exploded.

00:20I saw an object rise out of the ocean.

00:23It was moving very rapidly.

00:24And then start climbing, passing my altitude and the explosion.

00:29And the very next day, the FBI came to talk to me and said, you did not see that. You saw nothing.

00:36The TWA Flight 800 in-flight breakup was initiated by a fuel air explosion in the center wing tank.

00:43We didn't find any part of the airplane that indicated a mechanical failure.

00:48The explosive forces came from outside the airplane, not the center fuel tank.

00:53The FBI did all the interviewing of eyewitnesses.

00:57No witness was ever allowed to testify.
