00:00April 9, ATM theft case was reported in Suburban police station limits wherein unknown culprits

00:08had broke up on the ATM and had looted 18 lakh rupees cash. Initially the case was blind because

00:17we couldn't get any leads in the case either in the form of technical CCTV footages or any other

00:27leads we couldn't get. In that case we had formed special teams to identify the culprits and based on

00:34certain technical evidences collected we could ascertain that one I-20 vehicle which is white

00:44color and having other state number plate was involved in this case. In this background we had

00:50alerted our officers and men to keep a close watch on the movements of such suspected vehicles.

00:57Yesterday night during night patrolling one staff he gave he passed on the information to control room

01:05stating that one similar suspected vehicle is moving in the city. Immediately we alerted the officers and

01:11police inspector Sabharvan Santosh and Sabharvan police station inspector, sub-inspector Basuraj and

01:20their team they could trace the vehicle and they started chasing the vehicle which moved towards

01:26Baylor industrial area. Once the vehicle hit the dead end two culprits they alighted from the vehicle

01:33and started assaulting police officers. In self-defense they had opened fire and injured the accused in

01:40their legs. Totally four accused are secured and preliminary information is revealed that these

01:46are the accused of habitual offenders who are interstate ATM burglars from Miwath, Ariana. So

01:55two accused have been secured after puncturing their legs and another two accused are taken into custody

02:02and they are being questioned. A fresh case will be also taken for obstructing

02:07police duties and also for assaulting attempt to murder. In addition we are adding a new section

02:15which is organized crime. This gang being an organized crime syndicate who are committing such

02:21offenses across different states. As per the preliminary information collected this main accused Taslim who

02:30also involved in the April 9th incident. There are around 10 cases against him and another accused Muhammad

02:42on him there are seven cases including six ATM related cases. So these are the accused from

02:49Amoeba district of Haryana. One accused is from Hyderabad. So basically they carry

03:02gas cutter and they use fake number plates and also while committing crime they take a lot of precautions

03:09like switching off their mobile phones, bypassing toll plaza so that their movement doesn't get captured.

03:18So at the same time they target ATMs which are which are on the outskirts of the city so that it makes

03:25their entry and exit easy so that they don't get caught in the in quick response of police. So I congratulate
