00:00Why do you think the right is doing so well in various countries across Europe?

00:06Well, let me start with the data, because we can debate, we can have different opinions,

00:13we can be very different with our view on political events, especially recently.

00:20But data never lie.

00:22I'm here in Brussels, in the European Parliament, and the most important source of the data is Eurostat.

00:30So when someone is asking me why conservatives, why right-wing parties are winning, taking over,

00:37we can see change in many countries like, I don't know, Hungary, Italy, Spain, Vox, and others.

00:44Data is the reason.

00:46So let me start with criminality.

00:49So you have official data, you got Poland here, you got Italy here, and you've got Sweden here.

00:58This is the reason number one, criminality.
