Moment man rescues rabbit caught by his pet cat

On April 16, 2025, Jacob Sherburne, 36, from Massachusetts, spotted his pet cat, Lido, with something in its mouth on the porch.

Initially thinking it was a bird, Jacob used a golf club and plastic sheet to retrieve the animal, only to discover it was a young rabbit.

He gently rescued it, offering water and later placing it in a quiet spot near his home where wild rabbits gather.

After sharing the video online, Jacob received mixed reactions, with some thinking the rabbit was struggling to breathe.

However, when he returned, the rabbit was gone, and he hoped it had recovered and hopped off.
