00:00Well, it's incredible to be on board, the Carrier Strike Group, and to see the incredible capability.
00:07We all know that the world is more uncertain than it felt a few months or years before.
00:13We're in a new era, and that's why we've doubled down on defence spending as a government,
00:17but also to come and see the Strike Group as it starts its journey, a really important journey,
00:23bringing together thousands of personnel across the group from many different countries,
00:29a real statement to our adversaries of UK leadership on global issues, on security and defence,
00:37but also a real show of unity with our allies, particularly our NATO allies that we're working with.
00:43It's hugely important for the UK to play a leading role as we are playing on this deployment,
00:47because it shows our capability, it shows our sense of global leadership on defence and security,
00:54but also on trade and the economy. We're a free trading nation.
00:57This is a mission that's going to go across the entire world, down to the Indo-Pacific as well.
01:03So it's a UK sense of our leadership, a message to our adversaries,
01:11but also an important UK message to our allies about the way that we work with our allies
01:17in what we do on defence and security. So I'm very proud of what all the teams are doing here.
01:22Thank you very much.
01:29Exactly.
01:31Interesting.
01:32Hmm.
