Surah Al-Falaq is a powerful prayer in which the believer seeks refuge in Allah, the Lord of the daybreak, from all kinds of evil. The surah mentions specific sources of harm:
The darkness as it intensifies,
Those who practice witchcraft and blow on knots (a reference to black magic),
The envy of the envious when they act with jealousy.
It teaches that true protection only comes from Allah, especially from hidden and unknown threats.
