00:00Tesla CEO Elon Musk said he will scale back his involvement in US government affairs and devote more time to the electric vehicle maker after the company reported a steep drop in profits.

00:17Musk told analysts that his time spent on the Trump administration's Department of Government Deficiency, or DOGE, would drop to a day or two per week.
