00:29We came on the parish pilgrimage for the jubilee year of hope.
00:46We arrived Monday and as we put our phones on, as we landed here in Rome,
00:52we heard the sad news that Pope Francis had died.
00:55He's like a member of the family isn't he?
00:58Somebody very close to our hearts, somebody who made the church very accessible to everybody
01:02and inclusive to everybody and like a family member for us.
01:08And we were meant to have an audience with him today and we will do,
01:12but not in the way that we expected.
01:14Pope Francis? We love him.
01:16Who was for you Pope Francis?
01:18Pope Francis was an ordinary beautiful man who lived his life as a follower of Jesus
01:23in his most sincere way, in the most beautiful way.
01:27And he taught us all how to be Christians and to be human.
01:31We were coming on this trip for the canonization of Carlos Sacuti.
01:36So our plans have changed and we feel that it's a God incident that we're here,
01:41but sad, but blessed to be here.
01:45I would say that he was a father of the church and he was a mother of sanctity for me, of holiness.
01:54MuchĂsimo, muchĂsimo. Tengo asĂ la piel, el alma asĂ en el borde.
01:59It's kind of just a mixture of emotions. I mean, I'm anxious a lot walking in.
02:05It's such a surreal place and it's very holy and seeing the body and just remembering everything that he stood for is very important.
02:11I really felt like I was feeling it in the heart and it seemed like I was losing a person closer to me.
02:18But it's the moment of being in prayer for him, for his wife.
02:22For his husband, for his wife, for his wife, for everything that he did for the church.
02:26This is the feeling of gratitude.
02:29It's the feeling of joy.
02:36It's the wonder God, for his wife, for everything that would fall.
02:40It's the only one who pleads, for his wife, for everything that he and her wife and her wife, for what to do.
02:43It's the feeling of which he had taken for.
02:48It's the feeling of joy.
02:52It's the feeling of joy.
