Max has released the first trailer for the upcoming film Mountainhead, which comes from Succession creator and showrunner Jesse Armstrong.

The Park City-set film centers on a group of billionaire friends who get together against the backdrop of a rolling international crisis. This looks like a great movie that uses satire as it’s story telling device.

The cast is led by Steve Carell, Jason Schwartzman, Cory Michael Smith, and Ramy Youssef. Youssef previously said of the project:

“Succession is one of the best comedies ever made — and this film is certainly funny in the same way. Jesse’s writing is on another level. It’s really hard to find something of that caliber, so getting to do it was such a joy.”

The film wrapped shooting earlier this month and will arrive on Max on May 31st.
