The Palestine Issue
The Palestine issue is a long-standing political, religious, and humanitarian conflict that began in the early 20th century. It centers around the Palestinian people's right to self-determination, land ownership, and resistance against Israeli occupation. After the establishment of Israel in 1948, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians were displaced, an event they refer to as the "Nakba" or catastrophe. Over time, Israel's occupation of the West Bank, Gaza, and East Jerusalem, along with the expansion of settlements and human rights violations, have further complicated the situation. Despite numerous UN resolutions, the issue remains unresolved, and the Palestinian people continue their struggle for freedom, justice, and the right to return to their homeland.
