00:00Yeah, I mean Delhi game was a good one but even before that as well when we had a couple of close games where we couldn't get over the line we were playing some good cricket so the message was from me to the boys just keep the composure the emotions the same way whether we win or lose that's what I said earlier as well when we have a senior group with experience that helps and as long as we are playing good cricket
00:29we are happy still mid-bay through the season and we are not taking anything for granted we have areas to improve we need to keep it in those markers and yeah it was a good win today and then just keep that momentum going
00:45Can they talk a little bit about the partnership who was interested in you more and how can it work for you to learn more?
00:57You know I think Roe was brilliant up front he took control of the power play obviously Ryan again after a good start lost the wicket he knew they were going to bowl a lot of spins so took the decision to send Sky
01:13Sky and when Sky got into that groove Roe probably took a back seat which was great we wanted that partnership to build and get to that situation so that's what experienced us and these two guys knows each other pretty well so they handled that situation really well so I can't pick one of them because I think they were outstanding today both of them
01:37I just wanted your views on what makes this gangsters so fearless like Ayushma fear of CSK
01:43yesterday was Vaibhav and you know the other fear of Shai Prashe for CSK games so what makes the CSK games very angry?
01:49No I think the amount of cricket that these guys are playing domestically as well they have seen how the approach should be
01:56if they are to play at this level you have to have that intent and confidence especially
02:06sometimes it will work sometimes it doesn't doesn't mean that the talent is not there so as long as we see the talent
02:14as long as they see the intent and the confidence and you will back that talent so it's refreshing to see all these young guys coming
02:20every year and doing that but the key is to be consistent over a period of time and that's something that we need to wait and see
02:30Hi Coach, what were your kind of conversations with Rohit in these seven games until he started scoring because it's not like he was not
02:38reading the balls earlier he was just getting out and he already has so much experience but also he was hardly batting in the nets
02:46all the other batters have started scoring so pressure can also get to someone
02:51Rohit does bat in the nets but there is a different preparation to how he goes about it and for him I think
02:58there was a couple of good balls he got and then a couple of times that he tried things it didn't work so
03:05you trying to you know fight those through situations and I think for a guy with that kind of experience you literally
03:15leave them be and and have those positive conversations and say that you know let's you know do the match-ups and then see how he gets going and keep those positive intent
03:27so that was the very few conversations Polly had with him I had with him and he was quite okay about everything you know he knew what he needs to do and it was just a timing thing that you know he gets going and then just
03:43gets through that first three four was even after starts you know he had a couple of shots which probably just mistimed a little bit but you know that's how the game goes so you need to be you know understanding that and we've played enough cricket to know that as well so once he comes off like that you know that he's going to change the game and the momentum and that's going to filter down to the rest of the boys as well so
04:01um pretty happy how we the approach he never changed his approach the intent was there from day one even though he was failing so um that's um that was good for us that you know he was trying to play for the team and how we wanted to do it and we just back him to do that
04:13and did he sorry just one did he also insist that he stick to this tempo kind of approach even though it involves higher risk
04:35Yeah I mean he's been playing this tempo for a while and that's something that he understands himself but at the same time he will understand the game better in situational awareness as well so like today when Ash came as well he took a little bit of time he knew that you know he didn't have to take the long boundaries straight away but those are experienced players you know making those good decisions out there so he'll still play
05:05play with that tempo and we've encouraged him to do that um because he's a damn good player so we want him to take control of that and then he's got a couple of other guys who's going to follow him who will bat around him as well so take that little bit of onus away from at certain situations
05:21Can we have an update on the others or should we expect current to be available in intrapat or?
05:30Um it's on a day to day I think luckily it wasn't a deep cut but still stitches were required so um he's seeing the doctor tomorrow before he travels to to Hyderabad um we'll have a bowl see how it goes um yeah we'll take get a day at a time and make that call
