00:00In the name of Allah, the most beneficent and the merciful.

00:06One day, Shamim asked her grandmother,

00:10Tell me, Grandma, who made us?

00:13How did we come on this earth?

00:17Grandmother smiled sweetly and said,

00:20Yes, my child, I will tell you.

00:22Listen to me carefully and patiently.

00:25She began,

00:26Many, many years ago, in fact, thousands of years ago,

00:31there were water, trees, mountains, birds and animals on this earth.

00:37But there was no man or woman.

00:40At this time, Allah created one human form.

00:45It was man's body.

00:46Then Allah made the body alive.

00:49He was called Adam.

00:50Having created Adam, Allah commanded all his angels to bow down to it.

00:57All the angels obeyed and bowed down.

01:00But one jinn, who was called Azazil, did not do so.

01:06He stood erect against the order of his master and creator.

01:11God asked him,

01:11Why did you disobey my order and did not bow down as commanded?

01:18Azazil proudly replied,

01:20O God, you made me from fire.

01:23Now you ask me to bow down to a body made from clay and earth.

01:28I can't be little myself.

01:31That is why I will not bow down to Adam.

01:35The reply displeased Allah.

01:38For all who are created by him are to obey his orders.

01:43Azazil was sent out of heaven onto the earth.

01:47And from then on he was called Iblis and Satan.

01:52Iblis, before coming onto the earth,

01:55begged Allah to look at his many years of prayers and obedience.

01:59Allah asked him to ask for a reward.

02:04Iblis thought deeply.

02:06He felt that it was because of Adam that he was sent out of heaven.

02:13So he thought that Adam was his enemy.

02:16He decided to ask for life up to the day of resurrection.

02:21Allah granted him life up to a certain day.

02:24It is the day of the reappearance of the 12th Imam.

02:27Having got such a long life,

02:30he vowed to misguide Adam and all his prajni on every possible way.

02:36Hearing his determination,

02:38Allah told him that his scheme would be successful

02:42for only those men who would be of evil thoughts and deeds.

02:47But he would never succeed against good people.

02:52Oh, how bad of Iblis, cried Shamim,

02:55to think in such an evil way.

02:57Can Iblis hurt us, asked Shamim?

03:00Yes, replied Grandmother.

03:03He can harm us by making bad things appear tempting to us.

03:07We must always be careful.
