YouTuber: Trump doesn’t care about antisemitism

YouTuber Steven Bonnell aka Destiny says Trump isn’t focused on fighting antisemitism or protecting Jews but targeting institutions that stand against him politically.

00:00Okay, Destiny, I'm going to let you respond to what we've been hearing before we move on to segment B.

00:05I mean, when we hear, you know, two clearly, clearly polar opposite views,

00:10when you hear that and you think about those views clashing on U.S. university campuses,

00:17I mean, what is a way forward? Is there a way forward?

00:22I mean, this is a conversation. I mean, Israel-Palestine is a debate older than anybody here, of course.

00:27None of this conversation matters. None of it's relevant to what's being discussed.

00:30People can have their viewpoints on this.

00:32The reality is, is if you come into this conversation pretending that the Trump administration cares about anti-Semitism

00:37or is trying to save Jews on campus, it's just a lie.

00:41Trump is targeting institutions that he feels doesn't agree with his political viewpoint.

00:45He's doing the exact same thing with his numerous executive orders targeted towards lawyers,

00:50targeted towards law firms, targeted towards the ex-head of CISA.

00:53All of these people are being targeted because they have political disagreements with Donald Trump.

00:58That's why Columbia, that's why Harvard are being targeted.

01:01He might use the anti-Semitism thing as the reason to do it.

01:03But if you think that somebody is violating some part of the Civil Rights Act,

01:06if you think that a school is acting in some way that's criminal, then go through the criminal process.

01:11This administration has demonstrated time and time again that they completely disregard process,

01:15they don't care about rule of law, and that they will do whatever tactics they can

01:18to bring people underneath their influence and to try to crush them until they have to go along

01:23with whatever the Trump administration likes.
