00:00Hey gang, look, every week people come in the store and say, hey man, when is marijuana going to be legal in the state of Indiana?
00:06Well, I don't know, but let me tell you something, we just got a step closer.
00:10The Indiana General Assembly has just passed Senate Bill 478, which is a huge Delta 8 THC and hemp product bill.
00:19Let me give you just a few of the highlights.
00:20First of all, retailers must be certified and registered with the Indiana Tobacco and Alcohol Commission,
00:27a regulating body that's going to keep this product out of gas stations and convenience stores where kids can easily buy this and there's no safety regulations.
00:36Minimum age of 21.
00:39Obviously, in our store, you have to be 21, but now it's going to be a state law.
00:43Stores can't be near schools.
00:45That's an obvious.
00:46No more giveaways at farmer's markets.
00:50You have to be in the store to get samples.
00:52Childproof packaging, obviously.
00:54And again, only certified retailers selling this product.
01:00We're trying to keep this product safe.
01:02We're trying to keep it out of the hands of kids.
01:04We're trying to keep people educated on it so they know what they're using.
01:07This is the health and industry world, folks.
01:10We're trying to make this a legitimate arena.
01:12So, I want to say special thanks to Justin Swanson at the Midwest Hemp Council.
01:20Obviously, Jake Teshka up in District 7, as well as locally here, Brett Clark and Craig Haggard for all their support around us, around our community, and around this industry.
01:32So, thank you guys very much for your support.
01:35Here we go.
01:37Hemp Bill 478.
01:38Peace.
01:39Peace.
01:39Peace.
01:39Peace.
