00:00Michael, earlier today, 11 people, including women and children, were killed in Gaza City in Israeli airstrikes.

00:08What is the situation?

00:10So the situation is pretty much as it's been for the past 18 months, right?

00:14Israel indiscriminately bombing, always saying that there's a command and control centre,

00:21Hamas is operating in a hospital.

00:24So many women and children.

00:26I've seen numbers as high as 70%.

00:29Certainly 70% of deaths of the 50,000 are civilians.

00:35That cannot be disputed, although the Israelis will say that that's not the case.

00:39Or they will say that the civilians are being used as human shields.

00:44The problem that we're encountering right now is that everybody is feeling the pressure.

00:50So Prime Minister Netanyahu is feeling the pressure from the hawks within his cabinet.

00:57You have Hamas feeling the pressure from the Israelis, as well as from their own people.

01:02There have been protests in Gaza against Hamas.

01:05And the U.S., I think, is going to get to the point where they've had enough.

01:10And they, I think, are the only ones who will be able to say to the Israelis, stop.

01:15And until that happens, I think we're going to see more death.
