It was a contest of capitalising on chances between France and Denmark, wherein Kylian Mbappe's brace powered the defending champions to become the first team to seal their spot in #FIFAWorldCupQatar2022, Round of 16.   Mbappe opened the scoring in the 61st minute but Andreas Christensen restored parity seven minutes later from a corner. It looked like anyone's game until Mbappe landed the winning blow, turning home Antoine Griezmann's cross from close range.
