00:00The Florida governor, Ron DeSantis, has signed these bills now, changing the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America.

00:10I mean, is that significant, would you say?

00:12Well, absolutely. It's following a federal directive from President Trump to federalize that name.

00:20And it seems as though state by state this is happening. The first to do it would be Florida.

00:25And Ron DeSantis is playing the political game. He wants to be part of the Trump administration.

00:30He now knows that his future has to be in line with the Trump administration.

00:35And so do the Florida State House reps, which passed these two bills, 28 to 9.

00:42So it's a very small, symbolic thing, but a big win for America and certainly a big win for President Trump today.
