00:06tariff war with the United States. The government said Li Shenggang is

00:10replacing Wang Shouen, who participated in negotiations for the 2020 trade deal

00:15between China and the U.S. China didn't specify why it was changing

00:20negotiators, but the move comes at a time when Beijing is looking for ways to

00:24survive without the U.S. market. Meanwhile, China's President Xi Jinping arrived in

00:30Malaysia on Tuesday following a visit in Vietnam. Xi is touring Southeast Asia in an

00:36attempt to make the case for China as a more reliable trade partner than the U.S.

00:40The Chinese leader will end his tour with a stop in Cambodia.
