Bride surprises grandmother by wearing her wedding dress 62 years later

A woman surprised her grandmother by wearing her vintage wedding dress to her own wedding 62 years later.

Chrissie Mellett, 29, chose to wear her Grammy Patricia Lynch's dress for her church ceremony on April 5.

Chrissie kept it a secret until the big day, capturing her grandmother and Poppy’s heartwarming reactions.

The dress, worn by Patricia in 1963, was stored for over 60 years before Chrissie and her family decided to bring it back.

With minor tailoring adjustments, Chrissie made it fit.

The emotional moment was even more special as Poppy, who survived a heart attack at 39, witnessed it.
