00:00Three must-haves for space cleanup.
00:03Earth's lower orbits are polluted with 9,300 tons of space junk,
00:06traveling at the speed of over 25,000 kilometers an hour.
00:09But don't worry, we've got three creative solutions for you.
00:12The LaserBroom 3000.
00:13Its precise, pulsed laser technology ridges you of small satellite debris ranging from 1 to 10 centimeters.
00:19Just point the broom's beam at it to vaporize parts of the junk.
00:21This gives it a directional thrust, lowering its orbit until it burns up in the atmosphere.
00:25Need more force for bigger chunks? Try the Space Harpoon.
00:28Once in range, this little cleanup wizard launches a tethered harpoon at cosmic trash to reel it in.
00:32A sail is then attached to increase drag and pull the satellite into the atmosphere, free of charge.
00:37Now for the persistent small specks of dirt.
00:39The sponge.
00:40Foam released from the included deorbiter platform absorbs smaller debris and drags it back to Earth.
00:45Just like running a sponge through dirt.
00:47Easy as that.
00:48The use of all the above products is limited to outer space only.
00:51Any use for household cleanup duty is strongly discouraged.
