00:30He lives on an old ship that's been crashed on the side of the sea.
00:33Every day, he goes to a special place in the bottom of the ship where he finds this object.
00:38He wants to play with it.
00:39Things he needs to do to learn how to play with it are really unexpected.
00:44Working with the team at Amazon, we found that we were able to match our story ideas with this perfect curriculum of play.
00:52It was very clear when first reading the script, science knowledge was completely integrated into this beautiful world.
01:00I immediately saw, this is it. This is how kids learn science.
01:05Play is so important in the development of kids.
01:08It involves trial and error. It involves analysis, writing things down, figuring things out, reflecting upon things.
01:17And it's all done when we are engaged in something and play with it.
01:22You will be seeing hand-drawn pictures, and then you get to see a piece of the episode actually animated in stop-motion animation.
01:32You'll get to know a lot about Fig's character and how he moves.
01:36The show will validate this idea that preschoolers do play to learn.
01:41Whoops!
01:42It will inspire children to find their elements.
01:46I feel like it will help them to notice more.
01:49Tumbleleaf is this lovely, quiet, easy show that gives a sense of comfort and well-being.
02:00And I think every mother wants to have an environment that is calming and loving and supportive and yet magical.
