00:00Putin's barbaric war in Europe and Donald Trump's outrageous tariffs causing
00:05economic disorder, we really need to protect our industry, in this case our
00:10steel industry. If that requires Parliament to come straight away we
00:14should do that. Liberal Democrats will work constructively with the government,
00:17want to listen to what they've got to say, read what they're going to publish
00:20tomorrow, but we want to make sure our steel industry is safe for our steel
00:25workers and our country, and I don't think nationalisation should be off the
00:30table, but there are other measures to make sure we've got the steel for our
00:34defence industry, our energy industry and for our economy going forward. One person
00:38I hope will be there tomorrow is Nigel Farage, he's been the big supporter of
00:43Donald Trump and now he ought to apologise to British steel and British steel
00:48workers. He's a plastic patriot, he should apologise for his support for Donald
00:54Trump who's caused this damage.
