00:09This is a film all about the friendship we share with our pets.

00:16I rescue cats for a living.

00:19It's okay, Mama.

00:20I would love for all the cats to have a forever home.

00:25A lot of times when these animals come to us, they're broken in every way.

00:30It's a lot of heartbreak, but it's a lot of special moments, too.

00:35An animal just loving you unconditionally makes a connection you just can't break.

00:41We both have Clark's palates, so he just understands me a lot.

00:47I feel really nice.

00:49Having a pet is hard?

00:52Oh, my God.

00:54But it's a great journey.

00:55It was really nice to have this constant companion.

01:02I was no longer alone.

01:06Delilah, she's my child.

01:08To have another dog in the house to give her second lease on life as she's getting older

01:13is kind of the hope.

01:18Some people, they get really sad in their life.

01:21And then when you bring an animal, it keeps you going.

01:23Without them, I don't know where I would be.

01:34Love is love is love.

01:36I really do feel like we need each other.

01:44The greatest part is seeing them heal when they learn to trust.

01:52They're like magical beings sent down here to help us live our life.

01:56I'm sure they love me, but they can't love me more than I love them.
