Indonesia's Mount Marapi Eruption Triggers 1,500-Meter-High Ash Plumes

Indonesia's very active Mount Marapi has erupted for the first time this year. A volcanic event on Thursday triggered a Level 2 alert, meaning that climbers and villagers cannot go within three kilometers of the mouth of the volcano's crater.
