00:00A young man in Mandaue, Cebu, died in a car crash after he fell off a tree.

00:06According to barangay officials, the tree suddenly fell from the roof and hit the head of a child who was playing outside their house.

00:15The victim, who was supposed to be graduating from kindergarten, was already injured.

00:19The child's family called for justice and in 2024, they requested the City Hall to cut the tree.

00:27Other residents also wrote to the authorities so that the incident would not happen again.

00:32According to Mandaue LGU, they are already conducting an investigation and promised to provide financial assistance to the child's family.

00:40They also assure that there will be an answer to the incident.
