00:00The Philippines will export more than 66,000 metric tons of sugar to the U.S.

00:06according to the Sugar Regulatory Administration.

00:08This is in accordance with Sugar Order No. 2.

00:11However, there is a condition for importers

00:14where they need to buy sugar from local sugar farmers

00:19before they can get the same allocation of imported sugar.

00:24The timing of the export is also good

00:26in front of the peak of local sugar production from January to March.

00:31The SRA assured that they will comply with strict quality control of sugar in the U.S.
