00:15The situation in Myanmar is still getting worse after the magnitude 7.7 earthquake hit a while ago.
00:22According to Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Eduardo Divega,
00:25the rescue team is still not allowed to accompany the children of the missing and affected Filipinos in our country
00:32because of the severe condition there.
00:34Yesterday afternoon, the first batch of contingent was sent to Naypyidaw by the Philippines
00:40to assist in humanitarian and disaster response efforts.
00:43The second batch of our contingent was sent today.
00:47In the last count, more than 2,700 people were killed,
00:51more than 4,500 were injured, and more than 400 were continuously searched.
00:57Meanwhile, the composite team of the Philippine Embassy has already helped the officials
01:02who are involved in the search and rescue, as well as the officials of the Mandalay General Hospital
01:07to find out the whereabouts of the rescued and recovered Filipinos from Gumuhong Sky Villa building.
01:13As of now, the four Filipinos who were found missing have not yet been found in the said building.
01:19The Philippine Embassy is also talking to 11 Filipinos who were rescued from the building
01:24to find additional information.
01:26The search and rescue operations are still ongoing.
01:30The Philippine Embassy is also contacting the officials
01:33and is doing everything they can to find out the whereabouts of our fellow Filipinos.
