00:00A grass fire broke out in an area of Taal Volcano Island.

00:08According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology or PHIVOLCS,

00:12it started at 11 o'clock in the morning yesterday.

00:15The fire affected the Binintiang-Munti Observation Station of PHIVOLCS.

00:20The fire continues to be extinguished with the help of the Bureau of Fire Protection,

00:24Philippine Coast Guard and local authorities.

00:27Alert Level 1 is still high in the volcano Taal.
