00:00No, I cannot tell you anything about the new Snow White movie.
00:04I've been sworn to secrecy.
00:06Hi, Who Won't Wear.
00:07This is Rachel Segler.
00:08I think my perfect photoshoot pump-up jam would be Manicure by Lady Gaga.
00:24I think Artpop is such a beautiful album and doesn't get enough love, doesn't get enough
00:29attention, and I think Manicure is my favorite song off of it.
00:35I love to drink as much water as I possibly can on a photoshoot because you're standing
00:38in the same position sometimes for way too long, you start to go a little bit crazy,
00:42water will wake you right back up.
00:43I'm not a huge coffee drinker.
00:45If I was, I'd probably drink coffee too, but I don't.
00:48I don't have a lot of snacks on photoshoots.
00:50I'm really scared.
00:51Look at me.
00:52I'm wearing a white suit.
00:53just too messy to possibly eat snacks while in very fancy clothing that I do not own.
01:00For pre-shoot ritual, I don't have many, but I feel like the low hum of conversation is
01:06very important to me to just keep my brain awake and to wake everybody up in the morning.
01:11Just bring some good conversation, catch up with my team, my glam team, my styling team.
01:16It's very nice.
01:18My pre-shoot ritual would probably be taking a nap in the car ride home and then going
01:24home and falling asleep on the couch.
01:28My signature scent nowadays is probably Miss Dior.
01:32I love the way Miss Dior smells.
01:35It's very floral and beautiful and very light.
01:39It's not too overwhelming and it's not an old lady scent, which I'm always really cognizant
01:43of when picking fragrances out.
01:47I'm most looking forward to being back with my glam team.
01:50It's been like a year since we all were together and everything's kind of amping back up with
01:56Shazam 2 coming out, so we're kind of just easing back into spending every waking moment
02:01with each other and I'm glad that we get to start doing that here.
02:06I'm probably most excited to wear this meow number that I've never worn them before, so
02:12I'm really excited to wear them in today's shoot.
02:17I feel like I really vibe with the...
02:21I'm ancient when it comes to keeping up with trends.
02:24I have no idea what is trendy ever.
02:27I'm so bad at it.
02:29But I feel like the clean girl aesthetic, whatever that means, is a thing.
02:34And then there was also this lip trend that I think Hailey Bieber was talking about that
02:40Latinas have been doing for so long with the liner and gloss.
02:44I'm always in with that trend and anything that allows me to wear a gloss and just some
02:50mascara and makes me feel confident to leave the house.
02:54I don't know if I've been influenced by a lot of trends, but I'm a big fan of everybody
03:02who likes to express themselves in any art form and I feel like makeup is such an incredible
03:07art form where people get to express themselves.
03:09I've been doing my makeup since I was way too young to be doing my makeup and my mom
03:14let me rifle through her makeup bag and play.
03:17So I'm always just supportive rather than influenced by makeup artists and kids who
03:25are out there just expressing themselves via their makeup or their hair or their fashion.
03:31I feel like my most memorable day on Shazam 2 Fury of the Gods was probably my last day
03:39of shooting, which I can't necessarily spoil for you now because it was a very pivotal
03:45day of shooting.
03:46But we all got to be together in the same frame for a superhero shoot.
03:52It's not always common for you to actually be able to look your fellow scene partners
03:56in the eye.
03:57It's not always just tennis balls or pink X's of tape on a blue screen.
04:01So it was really nice for all of us to be together and it was very emotional because
04:05it was the day a lot of us wrapped.
04:14But if I could, I would tell you everything about the new Snow White movie because I'm
04:18very excited about it.
04:19But I did get a text message yesterday that the first rough cut is finished, which is
04:25so exciting, which means we're just in the process of, you know, test screening and seeing
04:29what needs to be re-shot or ADRed and redone.
04:34That was such a wild experience from start to finish.
04:37I can't wait to share it with people and it's going to be in theaters in March of 2024.
04:44I think of all the characters I've played, Lucy Grey-Baird in The Hunger Games Ballad
04:50of Songbirds and Snakes has, let me say that three times fast, right?
04:55She has the most incredible beauty journey because she's got the looks in The Hob, fans
05:01of the book will understand what I'm talking about, but, you know, she's got looks when
05:04she's performing, she's got looks, you know, and then in the games she's very, you know,
05:08dirty and sweaty and all these things and then there's a scene in a lake where I get
05:12to be completely natural.
05:14So I think that was probably my favorite beauty journey because I got to do so many different
05:19looks on that set and her beauty and her vanity is very important to her and the makeup artist
05:28and the makeup designer, Sherri Lawrence, and I really came up with a story for each
05:32thing that she would put on her face.
05:34So like, you know, her lipstick was made out of Beagle Juice and all of these different
05:38things because you have to justify all of these makeup trends that she's doing in the
05:43confines of a kind of, you know, post-apocalyptic setting, a very dystopian setting.
05:49Bye, Who Won't Wear.
05:50Thank you for hanging out with me on set.
