The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has issued the first batch of certificates for autonomous passenger drone operation to two Chinese companies.
EHang and Hefei Hey Airlines have met the safety operation standards and requirements for providing commercial services.
It means the two companies can now provide services to customers with tickets in certain areas in Guangzhou and Hefei, to have a trip with these “air taxis”.
