01:00We would just bring the animals right up beside the residents, and they get to interact
01:21with them. They get to feel them. They look into their big, huge brown eyes, which, you
01:25know, just are so relaxing. And they might hear them humming, alpacas hum, and they're
01:30very gentle.
01:55We were having a really positive impact on people with special needs, you know, be it
02:03kids with autism, be it adults or adolescents with Down syndrome. We just found that it
02:13lifted everybody's spirits.
02:25Just to see the smiles on their faces. And I think it triggered a lot of memories for
02:29people that would have grown up on farms, that would have been farmers. And I think
02:33as well, the feel of the wool brought back a lot of memories to people, and especially
02:37to the women that do the knitting. I'd highly recommend this therapy to anyone, and we'll
02:41definitely be having the two guys back again.
