00:00Just before we crossed to you we were listening to a clip of the British
00:04Prime Minister Sakhir Starmer saying that now is not the time he said to be
00:09lifting sanctions against Russia and we heard something quite similar from
00:12Germany saying words the effect that lifting sanctions right now would be a
00:16quote grave error I mean who are they aiming that message out do you think
00:21it's clearly being aimed at President Trump and everybody in Europe is
00:25scratching their heads wondering where the president is taking the
00:29transatlantic relationship because what we've seen from the very start is
00:34perhaps a recalibration of where America wants to take Europe it started at the
00:40Munich Security Conference when the vice president said Russia isn't the enemy
00:45the enemy is within it's within Europe and now we see all these other
00:49messagings taking place of holding intelligence of also not supporting
00:54military aid and so on and even bringing Putin in from the cold so the
00:58idea of saying sanctions must not be pulled back in any way is absolutely
01:04directed at the American president to say we cannot allow the adversary in
01:08Europe to get off the hook because that will simply give him time to rearm
01:12regroup and continue his effort to expand influence in Eastern Europe
