00:04some of the stories that are making the headlines in our print edition, which is on sale now.

00:09We leave this week on the experiences of one family whose twin boys were amongst the first

00:13babies born as lockdown restrictions came in. Frankie and Harriet Ewer turned five on

00:19March 27th, and their mum Vicky recalls how life has changed for them. A Falkirk taxi

00:25driver has been jailed after being found guilty of a sex attack on a young teenage passenger

00:30in his cab. The future of Grangemouth Stadium will be decided next week, with Falkirk Council

00:36expected to agree to its community asset transfer to a new trust. It comes as Falkirk VIX complain

00:43that much-needed equipment has already been removed from the facility. The new chief executive

00:49at NHS Forth Valley talks about what has attracted him to the job. His observations after six

00:54months in the role, and plans for the future. There's also details from the report into

01:00the power outage at Forth Valley Royal Hospital in January, and how health bosses are ensuring

01:06that it won't happen again. If you spotted work ongoing at the Forth and Clyde Canal

01:12near Camlyn, we've all the details, and how they are moving the fish out of the drain

01:17section. Falkirk's licensing board recently heard concerns about a new venue in Falkirk,

01:23but after hearing from the owners, agreed to grant an occasional licence.

01:28We also attended the 100th anniversary mass and celebrations for St Joseph's Primary School

01:33in Bonnybridge, with lots of pictures from the event. There's also news of Falkirk School's

01:39pipe band, a big trip to New York, where they will be taking part in the Tartan Day Parade

01:43down 6th Avenue, as well as playing at the world-famous Carnegie Hall.

01:48The Rotary Club of Falkirk has handed over its Community Achievement Award

01:52to a well-known supermarket manager in the area. In our retro section, historian Iain Scott takes

01:59us late from the work at the Forth and Clyde Canal, and delves into its history.

02:05In sport, we hear from Falkirk's Scott Arfield, as the club wait a bit longer

02:09for the much-wanted promotion after the defeat away to Livingstone. Also in football,

02:15Steen's Thistle are hoping for cup success in the East of Scotland competition.

02:20And in basketball, there was success for both boys' teams from Falkirk High and Graham High

02:25in recent competitions. While we were at the launch of the new Purple Rhinos rugby section
