Young Indians Making Their Country Proud

These Indians are making their mark in diverse fields. And none of them are 30 years old yet.

00:30When I started playing hockey, I used to struggle a lot with small things, like I am a goalkeeper

00:43You know, there is a lot of rush in Haryana, I used to travel in a local bus, the bag size

00:49was so big that the bus driver was not ready to let me sit in it.

01:10Till now we have composted around 5,35,000 kilograms of waste flowers, which we have

01:16prevented about 5,35,000 kilograms of arsenic, cadmium, lead and other chemicals from going

01:46That is literally the first engineer in not just my village, but in also nearby 50 or

02:04maybe 100 villages.

02:05And one of the reasons why I think our neighborhood hasn't been able to give more engineers or

02:10doctors or IAS officers is because of the language barrier.

02:1490% of us only understand our own native Indian languages and not English.

02:21And yet on the internet, almost no content is there in Indian languages.

02:27That is the situation that we are trying to change.

02:44I have been fascinated by handicraft since like childhood.

03:07My mother used to weave handwoven textile.

03:10I learned those skills as a child in Assam.
